October Ghosts

The changing leaves aren't so colourful this year. When I was a kid we would often take a trip in early October down to New York State just to see the leaves and camp out in a big trailer my uncle owned in the mostly empty state parks.

My uncle Pat was quite an influence on me as a child. He bought me my first computer, a Commodore VIC-20 for my birthday in 1980. All I had to do was spend the day with him at the Consumer Electronic Show in Detroit that year.

He died almost a year and a half ago most unexpectedly. I wrote this short piece for him.
