Princess Superstar

Been a while since I posted, but that's only due to the fact I've been quite busy in the studio.

After a long run of instrumental works, I've produced three tracks that incorporate vocals this month! Two are older tracks that I've been meaning to add some rhymes to - with the help of crews from Chicago and the UK. That's the internet for you. Thanks to G Wills and Split Seconds.

What started this whole lyrically heavy period was a remix of a track for Princess Superstar's new album due to hit the stores in September. She's gotten all sci fi and futuristic on this latest disc.

Without a Trace

So it's been one year since I attended a private screening of a feature film called "Down" that I supplied some music for. There were about 60 people at the NFB cinema in downtown Toronto (cast and crew only) who saw the film. I guess there were about 6-8 pieces of music that I wrote used throughout. Pretty much a dream come true for me, after hearing only a few seconds of my music heard on various TV shows throughout the years. A feature film! My tracks played out in full length! Awesome!

I was told by the director that the film was destined to be entered into various film festivals. But since then, nothing. Nowhere. It's gone. No website, no reviews, no mention of it. No e-mails from the director either.

It's like it never happened at all. Weird.

Track Listing

OK - here is a run down on the tracks used in "The Final Thought" documentary:

Nostromo
What's Your Handle?
ParticipAction
Sea of Japan
Kinks of Embarrassment
Bell Moto 3
Lucky Charms
Reduced a Thousand Times
Remedial Threads
Push It All Away
Needle / Connections

Run time of the film is 90 minutes.

Some of those tracks were recorded in the mid 90s! Now it's off to the film festival circuit.
