Born a Capricorn

Another fresh track that went down well at the Mercury Lounge.

I was definitely looking backwards while making this one. It's teetering awfully close to handbag territory, but I think it's saved by the dark Ultravox sounding arpeggios towards the end. Maybe not.

It had to be called:
Born a Capricorn

(Alternate title could be: "Krista wants a JX-3p", but there are only two people in the world who know what I'm talking about.)

Mercury Lounge

I'm jazzed about my next DJ gig taking place at the legendary Mercury Lounge on Saturday July 21st.

It's a private party, and I'll be putting my USB mixer though the paces for two separate hour long sets.

Here's a new remix I'll be dropping for sure:

Business Class

I think this is one of my favorite tracks that I've recorded this year. It's obviously summer.

With two small children at home, I don't get to jet around on solo trips, or head off to Paris for the weekend with my girl anymore... so, until the boys are a little older, this track will have to do.

Electric Circus

There used to be a show called "Electric Circus" that was shot in Toronto that featured people dancing in a pretend 'night club'. It showcased serious people in ridiculous clothes aping for the camera with their 'best moves'.

I was shocked to find out recently one of my tracks was played by some DJ. Shocked only because I can't imagine anyone trying to dance to anything I produce. My stuff is more of the head nod variety.

As a tribute, here is a fresh one:
